Infiniti Firesᵀᴹ started in 2006, with the desire to design and manufacture better looking and more efficient fires for the South African home heating market. Infinity Fires initial offering of gas fires has grown over the years to include an extensive range of both wood and gas burning fires, all with efficiencies that compete with the best of units available internationally.

Cognizance has been taken in our designs, of those unique aspects of South African homes that require something different to the norms of Europe and America.

These aspects include:

• The open plan nature of living areas in our modern homes. Ideal for summer living, but much larger volumes to heat in our 3 to 4 month winter.

• The absence of cheap natural gas piped into our homes, which much of Europe and America enjoys. Most gas usage in SA is via bottled gas at relatively high prices. A high conversion rate of the bottled gas into useful heat is needed to make gas space heating an economically viable home heating solution.

• The relatively poor insulation installed in most South African homes.

• The trend over the last twenty years to modern architectural designs with cleaner lines and less clutter.

Our group of fireplace industry specialists have created a range of modern looking wood and gas fires that are at the forefront of technology, have striking looks and some of the most fuel efficient combustion systems in the world.

Our units are highly advanced in their environmental friendliness, maximising the heat from both gas and wood being burnt, whilst giving very little in the way of emissions into the atmosphere.

Chad-O-Chef – Lifestyle Products started manufacturing quality stainless steel gas braais in 1983.

Our range of flueless gas fireplaces was introduced in 2006, and they were immediately accepted under SANS 1539 standards for their clean-burning rating.
